The Matinée Group was born in 1997 in Barcelona.

In 2000 they started spreading their brand to Ibiza with sporadic parties across the Island. And in 2002 they join up with the legendary superclub Space to offer a wild new Saturday night which became the place to be seen for over 7 years. In 2009 they are rumoured to have moved to Amnesia, another one of Ibiza's legendary superclubs.

In 2006 Matinée gamble on expanding the brand by starting a World Tour, which includes London.

Matinée London artwork has always been about impact. Whether the Matinee parties are taking place at The Colosseum, Fabric or Area, the ideas is to make sure that the customer knows where the party is, what time it's on, and the audience will do the rest!
